REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS
All payments are non-refundable except in the limited circumstances set out below or where required by law.
Once a booking is confirmed, your place on a course, training, workshop, event or retreat is reserved and costs are committed in advance. For this reason, refunds are not available for changes in personal circumstances, including illness, injury, travel disruption, work commitments, family commitments or change of mind.
YOGA TEACHER TRAININGS
Enrolment
Before a payment link is issued, applicants must read, sign and return the current Teacher Training Terms & Conditions.
By making payment, students confirm their acceptance of those Terms & Conditions.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £750 is required to secure your place on a Yoga Teacher Training course.
The deposit reserves your place and Sussex Yoga Training Ltd commits resources, staffing, administration and course preparation upon acceptance of your booking.
Cancellation Within 7 Days of Booking
You may cancel your booking within 7 calendar days of booking confirmation, provided the booking was made more than 60 calendar days before the course start date.
A refund will be issued less the non-refundable £750 deposit.
Where the course fee has been paid in full, whether at the Early Bird rate or the standard course fee, £750 of that payment shall be treated as the non-refundable deposit.
Any additional reasonable costs already incurred specifically in relation to your booking may also be deducted.

Cancellation After 7 Days
After 7 calendar days from booking confirmation, no refunds will be issued except where required by law.
The £750 deposit remains non-refundable.
Cancellation Within 60 Days of the Course Start Date
No refunds will be issued.
Your place on the course remains allocated to you.
You remain liable for the full course fee, whether or not you attend.
After the Course Has Started
No refunds, cancellations or withdrawals are permitted.
Full payment remains due.
Payment Plans
Where a payment plan has been agreed, you remain liable for the full course fee once the booking has been confirmed.
Missed payments may result in suspension from the course until payments are brought up to date.
Transfers & Deferrals
Transfers to another course, intake or cohort are not guaranteed.
Any transfer or deferral is offered solely at the discretion of Sussex Yoga Training Ltd.
Where approved:
• All outstanding course fees must be paid in full
• The request must be made in advance
• Additional administration fees may apply
• Only one transfer or deferral will normally be permitted
A transfer or deferral does not create any entitlement to a refund.
If We Are Unable to Deliver the Course
If Sussex Yoga Training Ltd cancels a course without offering a suitable alternative, all monies paid will be refunded.
WORKSHOPS, EVENTS & SHORT COURSES
Cancellation More Than 7 Days Before the Event
No refunds will be issued.
Credit will be added to your account for future use.
Credit must be used within 12 months of issue.
Cancellation Within 7 Days of the Event
No refund or account credit will be issued.
No Shows
Failure to attend a booked workshop, event or short course will result in the full loss of payment or credit used.
No refund, transfer or credit will be available.
If Sussex Yoga Training Ltd cancels a workshop, event or short course, you will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date.
RETREATS
Retreat spaces are limited and accommodation commitments are made well in advance. For this reason, the following cancellation terms apply.
Deposits
Retreat deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit amount applicable to each retreat will be stated on the individual retreat booking page.
Cancellation Policy
• 60 days or more before the retreat start date, payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.
• 59–30 days before the retreat start date, payments are non-refundable, but amounts paid beyond the non-refundable deposit may be transferred towards a future retreat or event run by Sussex Yoga Training Ltd.
• 29 days or less before the retreat start date, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you are unable to attend, you may find somebody else to take your place, subject to approval by Sussex Yoga Training Ltd.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation cover, medical cover and personal belongings cover.
Flights & Transfers
Flights, airport transfers and other travel costs are not included unless specifically stated on the retreat booking page.
If We Cancel the Retreat
If Sussex Yoga Training Ltd cancels a retreat, all monies paid directly to Sussex Yoga Training Ltd will be refunded in full.
Liability is limited to the amount paid directly to Sussex Yoga Training Ltd.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
In cases of illness, injury, pregnancy, bereavement or exceptional personal circumstances, Sussex Yoga Training Ltd may, at its sole discretion, offer:
• A transfer to a future date
• A temporary deferral of your place
• Alternative arrangements where reasonably possible
This does not create any entitlement to a refund.
All requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
RETAIL REFUNDS
Unused and unopened retail items may be returned within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase for a full refund.
We do not ship products.
BOOKING TERMS
All bookings must be paid in full or in accordance with an agreed payment plan.
Bookings may be made up to 18 months in advance.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
